Coma Beach is a punk rock/alternative rock band from Würzburg, Germany. The band was formed in 1993 by singer B. Kafka, guitarist Captain A. Fear and drummer M. Lecter, with bassist U. Terror and rhythm guitarist M. Blunt completing the lineup. "A crucifixion hallucination, a cry for vengeance, and a vision of divine sorrow." “Jesus’ Tears” is a brutal, theologically charged nightmare that upends familiar Passion imagery: the speaker who is crucified “next to Jesus Christ” is not a saintly bystander, but a defiant, wounded narrator whose suffering becomes the seed of a promised spiritual vengeance. The lyric folds Gospel scenes, Marian sorrow, apocryphal angelics, and Gothic revenant lore into a short, violent parable about sacrificial violence, communal guilt, and the moral ambiguity of revenge. Musically, the song’s refrain — “My mad life was punished / But my spirit will take revenge” — operates like a warped liturgy: equal parts confession, accusation, and vow. "A confession, a trial, and a self‑execution — all in just over three minutes." “Nothing Right” is a raw, confessional interrogation: a speaker pacing the ruins of a life, alternately pleading for absolution and accusing themselves of irredeemable crime. The lyric moves between everyday idioms and stark moral images — “hit the nail on the head” beside “why I’m a murderer” — so that ordinary failure and existential culpability become interchangeable. It’s simultaneously a catalogue of regrets, a philosophical demand for meaning (life, forgiveness, death), and a dramatization of self-judgment that reads like a modern-day lament stitched to the lineage of Biblical confession, tragic literature and existential novels. "I Won't Listen" is track #12 from our album "The Scapegoat's Agony". The original version first appeared on our second demo tape, which was recorded in February 1995. Synopsis for "I Won't Listen": In the album’s penultimate chapter, the unnamed antihero puts on full display his cynical disdain for soul-crushing conformism and societal expectations.
